Operations Management

An operations manager is the person who often gets to decide how facilities should be designed, formulate products and policies, and create employee schedules and control inventory and distribution of a company’s product or service.

Many of the duties of an operations manager overlap with those of a C.E.O.

Those wishing to work in a general capacity within this field can earn an undergraduate degree from an accredited school or college. However, those who wish to choose a specific concentration should pursue an MBA in operations management.
