Media producers are the people who bring other people’s ideas to life on the screen.

In order to pursue a career in this field, specialized training is required. Many schools and colleges offer undergraduate degrees in the field. Those already in a related field---such as computer science and computer programming----may be able to break into the industry with little or no additional training.
