Guide to General Studies Schools

Still not sure what you want to be when you grow up? You’re not alone. Pinning down a major when you enter college is one of the hardest parts for some students.

If you are in this situation, a degree in general studies may be the way to go. Most schools and colleges which offer this type of degree allow students to take classes for up to two years before requiring them to pick a major. Those who wish to continue as simply a general studies major are qualified to do a number of jobs upon earning a bachelor’s degree, including administrative service managers, funeral directors and even museum curators.
