Guide to Computer Aided Design Schools

A computer-aided design technician will use his or her skills to prepare drawings and topographical and relief maps that are used by civil engineers. These drawings will be used for projects such as highways, bridges, pipelines and water/sewerage control systems.

An associate degree from an accredited school or college is usually sufficient to qualify graduates for most jobs in this field.
