Guide to Auto Body Technology Schools
Most minor fender-benders-----and even some more serious damage to vehicles-----often can be repaired by a knowledgeable person.
That person is called an auto body technician. They fix the bumps, dings and smashed parts vehicles can sometimes suffer.
To become a trained auto body technician, at least two years of technical school training from an accredited school or college is required. Some technicians go on for further on-the-job training as well.
