To earn this certification, you are required to take two tests and a choice of three elective exams. You must pass them in order to earn certification.

The tests were created by a non-profit company called Comp-TIA. In order to prepare for these tests, a general understanding of how computers work is needed. An associate degree from a technical school or college is the best route to take.
