Avionics technicians are the people who perform scheduled maintenance, make repairs and complete inspections according to FAA regulations on every aircraft flying the friendly skies. These can be commercial, private or military.

A college degree is not necessary to break into this field. Many schools offer certificate and associate degree programs that are more than adequate at landing a great job in this industry.
