Guide to Nursing - BN to BSN Schools

There are three components to a nursing degree. The most advanced of those is the BSN, or a bachelor of science degree in nursing.

While an associate degree and state licensure is all that is required to practice as a nurse in most states. Those who obtain a BSN open themselves up to more opportunities in the field.

BSN programs take four years to complete through an accredited school or college.
