Guide to Dental Assisting Schools

Every good dentist needs a dental assistant to help make his or her life easier.

Among other duties, dental assistants are responsible for sterilizing and disinfecting dental equipment, laying out the instruments needed for each dental patient’s care and recording a patient’s dental records. It’s also their job to help patients feel as comfortable as possible while there.

Many trade schools and junior colleges are now offering dental assistant training programs, which can be completed in as little as two years.
